Original acrylic painting on gallery wrap canvas. 18” X 24”. I love to walk the beach, in every light, and especially love when the light is silvery early in the day. Acrylic paste creates the texture on the rocks, and I used a palette of silvery blue, pale turquoise, soft ivory, and restrained sandy tones to create the mood of stillness and quiet that standing beside the lake creates.
